The Power System Location page lets you configure the power system address
and view the connection state of Power System.
According to your Power System type, you may need to type Agent's address
or PMU's address in the Address field. When the address is configured, you will
see the connection state of Power System. Power System is the system
connected to the Battery Backup directly. The Power System Information
page is available only when the connection state is connected. Remember to
setup the same phase key in Security section as described on Protected
System Identification Help Page. If the phase key is different from Power
System and Slave, Slave will not have ability to communicate with Power
System.
POWER SYSTEM LOCATION
Address: Displays the power system address. You can click Setup button to
configure the power system address. Normally, power system address is the
Agent or PMU address. You can link to Agent or PMU directly by click the
hyper link showed here. If the status is unreachable, it could be fail to open
due to wrong address.
Status: Displays the status about the communication with Power System.
You can click Reconnect button to verify the current status about the
communication with Power System.
o connected: Slave is connected with Power System. Slave can obtain
information about Battery Backup from Power System.
o unreachable: Slave can't connect with Power System. It may due to
the wrong phase key, the wrong address, or the network connection
problem.
Note: After you configured the address, you need to wait for
negotiation for 5~20 seconds (depends on response time).
